ABOUT JAMFEST
What Is JamFest All About?
JamFest is an annual 3v3 basketball tournament, vendor market, and block party, located at the Sandy Promenade (10011 Centennial Pkwy, Sandy, Utah 84070). JamFest was founded by Chris Coates and Utah Jazz legend Thurl Bailey. Thurl had long-envisioned a community event in Utah centered around the game of basketball. That dream became a reality with the inaugural JamFest tournament kicking off in 2023.
JamFest is more than just basketball. It's an opportunity for friends, family, and members of the community at-large to come together in unity and celebration. The event includes activities suitable for all age groups. We aim to always have a family-friendly and inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome.
JamFest saw significant growth from 2023 to 2025, and we expect to continue that upward trajectory in 2026. We now welcome teams from all over the mountain west and west coast regions. With your help, the goal is to grow JamFest into one of the largest 3-on-3 basketball tournaments in the United States. This will bring visitors from all over the country to the great state of Utah to join in on the JamFest experience. We thank you for your participation to help make that happen!
